The Magician

The Magician is the Alias of talented DJ/Producer/Tastemaker, Stephen Fasano.

Founder of revered Electronic-Pop duo Aeroplane in 2007, he disembarked that flight and boarded his own magic carpet ride in 2010.

Following a string of releases not he French label Kitsune The Magician finally struck platinum success with his remix of Lykke Li’s “I Follow Rivers” in 2011 (which has had over 300 million global streams and topped the charts across Europe)

In 2014 and hit new heights with his massive summer smash “Sunlight” which featured vocals from Alexander of British band, Years & Years.

With top 10 “hit status achieved in the UK, Europe and Australia and top 100 Billboard in the US, The magician spend 2015/16 cultivating his own live events and record label aptly named ‘POTION’. The singles “Together” and “Shy” quickly followed, with the latter now certified golf with over 50 million streams worldwide.

In 2017 The Magician moved from his label deal at Parlophone/Warner to Sony and re-released a series of memorable collaborations, including “Tied Up” with Julian Perretta and “Slow Motion” with TCTS

the Magician has also captured the imagination of music fans with his “Magic Tapes” mix series on Soundcloud; Every month sifting through new music from fellow artists and fans to add two the series which has just broken the 95 mark.

2020 is a new decade, with The Magician moving away from his major label commitments and releasing music independently through his own label Potion Records.
